60 Day Juice Feast – Day 5

by Courtney on October 21, 2007

Graaaaape divinity!! I had a quart of fresh concord grape juice and OH MY GOODNESS. An intimate experience with the divine, may I say? It was the best ever!!
Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:
32 oz. coconut water
1 TBS bee pollen
32 oz. green juice w/ cayenne & turmeric
2 TBS E3 Live
32 oz. concord grape juice
32 oz. green juice w/ cayenne & turmeric& 1 TBS chlorella & 1 TBS Pure Synergy
24 oz. orange juice w/ 1 TBS hemp oil
Mmm, today was a juicy day! Yesterday I had so little juice, and today my body was definitely asking for more! I absolutely love the fact that there are green juices and fruit juices included on this feast. I think having the variety makes me appreciate both. It’s such a great balance and it keeps everything alive and interesting.
Upon talking with David Rainoshek today, he said that if one is not having at least one bowel movement per day, then something should be taken to help that process along, such as cascara sagrada or the Intestinal Movement Formula by Healthforce Nutritionals. I am having one or more bowel movements per day, but the recommendation is a good thing to keep in mind!
Around 5:30 today I had some detox reactions. A wave sort of came over me bringing with it some lightheadedness, sweating, and increased heart rate. Could be detox, but most likely I’m not drinking enough juice – and considering yesterday how little I had, it’s not too surprising.

You should also know that I’m doing enemaspretty much every day – very important!!!

Wonderful wonderful!

Hi,
i’m exploring raw foods, but i’ve been vegan for almost 10 years. Anyway, this summer I got into taking emenas every couple of days. I feel fine so I doubt its hurting me. But I was just wondering what you heard about them? since you take them everyday.(i’m sorry if i’m being too personal)
