60 Day Juice Feast – Day 25

by Courtney on November 10, 2007

Beaaaaaaautiful.. Today we went on a little Saturday afternoon drive to a place called San Rafael Valley (see above picture, although it really doesn’t do it justice). After winding through the moutains and hills that make up this landscape here in southern Arizona, we came up on top of this hill, and BEHOLD! Beautiful grasslands as far as you can see, with the mountains far away in the distance. It was so majestic and the energy of the area was so powerful. It sort of reminded me of pictures you see of African grasslands – just rolling hills of tall yellowish grass with the occasional oasis of trees spotting the landscape. I love how grasslands look in the wind – all these undulations and graceful movements that the grass takes on… We saw some wildlife as well, including a pair of deer (a female and male), some beautiful birds and an animal, which I am forgetting the name of, that looks sort of like a raccoon but it has a narrow tail that comes to a point and also a pointier face. If anyone can think of what this is, I’d like to know :) The more of Arizona I see, the more I love the state. It was an incredible experience today for sure! I think this juice feast is making me more sensitive to subtle energies of everything – people, places, etc. I feel so connected.
Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:

18 oz. spinach/grape/celery/apple/carrot juice
28 oz. green juice w/ lemon, cayenne, turmeric and a pinch of salt

18 oz. spinach/alfalfa sprouts/buckwheat sprouts/cucumber/celery/pear/apple juice w/ 1/4 TBS MSM
32 oz. green juice w/ lemon, cayenne and turmeric
2 TBS E3 Live
6 oz. apple/grape/orange juice w/ 1/4 TBS Nature’s First Food
1.5 TBS bee pollen
30 oz. orange juice w/ 1 tsp MSM, 1/4 TBS Nature’s First Food, 1/2 TBS chlorella and 1 TBS hemp oil
6 oz. water w/ pinch MSM
16 oz. apple/grape/celery juice w/ 1 tsp MSM

Ahh just LOOK at that beautiful, long list of things I got to put in my body today :D What a great experience of overflowing abundance this juice feast is! Today’s green juice had a fair amount of dandelion and mustard greens grown in our very own veganic organic garden at the Tree of Life… WHEW! Powerful juice. My digestive activity has had a dramatic increase today… it always feels good to know I’m getting old stuff out! The enemas help immensely. Today I’ve also experienced, for the first time on this juice feast, some detoxification symptoms, such as headache, dizziness, weakness, and fatigue. I can definitely feel some changes going on in my body, verified by these symptoms, the increased bowel activity and the recent eruptions of a few pimples on my face (also rare for me). I actually like to see this kind of thing – it feels good to see the evidence that I’m getting rid of toxins!!

And a good night to you!

Was it a coatimundi? I saw one at a pet store one time when I was little and begged to have it for a pet! I have never seen one in the wild, but they do look similar to a racoon.

Blessed Day!
