60 Day Juice Feast – Day 49

Ahh, twas a nice stay-at-home day indeed! I’m having trouble getting in my whole gallon, I didn’t realize just how much PRODUCE I’d need! I’ve been getting juice from the cafe and now that I don’t have that, I’m rather flabbergastedat the amount of produce one needs.. well, all the more nutrition!!

I read a whole book today  ‘The Astonishing Power of Emotions’ by Abraham-Hicks. It was very good, and I feel very happy and ‘in alignment’ after having read it. I really love all the Abraham teachings, and have been following them for a good year and a half now.

Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:

32 oz. apple/pear/strawberry juice w/ spirulina
16 oz. blackberry/blueberry juice
24 oz. celery/green leaf lettuce/pear juice w/ 1/2 TBS Nature’s First Food

34 oz. romaine/celery/apple juice w/ 1/2 TBS MSM

A question from a reader:

Hello, I love your blog and follow you on twitter as well. I am brand new to raw foods and need to lose alot of weight. I was wondering about your 32oz of orange juice. Do you peel the oranges then add them to the vitamix or do you use a citrus juicer to juice them? I eat clemintines or oranges every few days but orange juice sounds divine. One of those I crave sometimes. Thank you for your blog and good luck on your feasting.

Well, welcome to the raw food world! I do peel the oranges before I blend them using my vitamix. The orange juice IS divine, and the past few days I’ve become very enamored with orange/grapefruit juice.
