The masses are gathering…
I think had the best meal of my LIFE today. It was the chef day of one of the lovely apprentices here. Normally the apprentices put together a very elaborate (and always extremely tasty) meal plan for each meal on their day.
However, the chef today wanted to direct our apprecation to the joy of simplicity and the experience of all powerfully locally grown food.
SO, she had a HUGE spread prepared by the garden and sprout house of tons and tons of sprouts and greens – everything grown here and harvested today. Can you say FRESH?
It was so incredible – I had two HUGE bowls of baby greens, sprouts (many kinds), and others. And the best part?? PARSLEY grown in our garden and harvested that day.
Aaaaaaaaaahh it was so good!! I was in total nirvana.
And of course you know what I did with my big bowl of green goodness – I drizzled a bit of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and HEAPS OF SPIRULINA!!!!
(I’ve had emails asking what my spirulina salads consist of – that’s it – mostly sprouts, but any greens will work, sprouts just have the nicest consistency and I think the best tase – drizzle some olive or hemp oil, a bit of salt, spirulina, and thats it!)

, whom I had the immense joy of meeting in person, has a few new posts on her blog about her stay here, including some really great pictures. And she’s coming back for the apprenticeship, so I’ll delightedly get to see her again!
