Day 2 Global Juice Feast – Sleepin’ & Ragnarin’

Juice Feast Day 2… last night we slept a LOT… I don’t know that I’ve ever slept that much. It was likely due to a less than great sleep schedule for the past week and perhaps some detox too, but we were asleep for a good 10 hours…

Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:24 oz. spinach/celery/apple
1 TBS bee pollen
22 oz garden greens/celery/sprouts/cucumber
30 oz. orange juice w/ 2 TBS Nature’s First Food
12 oz. Amazon Herb Treasure tea with some honey
16 oz. garden greens/celery/cucumber

16 oz. garden greens/sprouts/apple juice

Total: 108 oz. juice, 120 oz. total liquid

I also want to document my physical activity, something I think is almost half the equation of Jfeasting, that I definitely can say looking back that it wouldv’e totally maximized my 60 day Feast even more if I had taken exercise to the next level.

Soo… yesterday I chilled out, although I’d been active this week, and today the exercise consisted of a beautiful 45 minute walk in the forest down by the Sonoita Creek, where we were blessed with the viewing of a fawn and its mother. I also did some yoga although I don’t count that as exercise unless I were doing some intense yoga during which I was dripping sweat and most definitely building muscle and burning lots of energy.

Some of those juices today were PHENOMENAL… all garden greens picked TODAY from the Tree garden, sprouts harvested TODAY from our sprout house…

Thim insisted on that second juice being all green and having no addition of fruit to sweeten it up. I was a little hesitant for some reason, I guess I wanted some fruit, but I made it all green anyways and I tell you, as soon as I drank a few sips I asked myself, “And WHY would I ever want any other juice than this??”.. So grounding, nourishing, satisfying.

Greens are where it’s at, no matter who you are and what you eat the rest of the time.

Today we read in a few of Peter Ragnar‘s books and watched part of a DVD of his. If you’re not familiar with Peter, I HIGHLY recommend looking up his work. Peter is quickly becoming a person for whom I have extremely respect as far as his teachings, recommendations, and life.

I have always felt that legitimacy comes from people who really walk their talk. Someone who really, really embodies what they say and what they stand for, and practices what they preach. The living example is so imporant to me, and it is also one of the number one things that inspire me to keep growing, in every way. I want to be a spectacular example of excellence, physically, emotionally, spiritually – and in every way.

This week, we’ll be starting his Magnetic Qi Gong and Art & Science of Physical Invincibility courses – I’ll let you know that goes

Why not get juicy and magnetic at the same time??

With that, happy juicing!
