Desert Snow and TOL Food Network Show

by Courtney on February 10, 2009

Greetings to you on this fine SNOWY day. Wait… SNOWY? Yes, snowy. It snowed on the the eve of the full moon, and today it is our once per year winter wonderland. Red rock and cactus covered in fluffy white.. quite the site.

I finally had the opportunity to view the Food Network‘s show on the TOL’s Reversing Diabetes Naturally program. I wasn’t sure what to expect, being that the Food Network is a mainstream channel funded by ample pharmaceutical and S.A.D. food product commercials. Much to my surprise and delight, the entire thing – her process, the center, the program, raw food, and the concept of reversing Diabetes, was portrayed very well.

The special followed a guest named Sharon, a type 2 Diabetic who attended the program last year. She had fantastic results and herself was a very dedicated and positive person. There was almost no negative manipulation of editing, which they had full freedom with. Things are shifting, everyone, and here’s a real triumph – a mainstream, major TV channel not only featuring something like healing Diabetes with diet, lifestyle and supplements, but featuring it in a positive light. This is really a triumph for raw and living foods and for alternative healing.
