Follow Up: Spring Modified Juice Feast and Recipe

My goodness, I am late in posting this blog! I did my little Modified Juice Feast that I wrote about in my last blog post (click here for that post), and then family came to visit, and so I am just now getting to share this with you.

I ended up just doing a 3-day Modified Juice Feast prior to family coming in, but it still was a great experience as I knew it would be. By the way, I have and many people do indeed do full Juice Feasts or Modified Juice Feasts while family is in town (once I did a Juice Feast over all the November and December holidays!), but this time I chose not to be doing it while they were here. It all depends on your goals and the urgency of completing whatever length you’d like to.

I have done Modified Juice Feasts before and knew what to expect, so I’m actually probably not the best person to be blogging about it because I’m so far from being a newbie anymore that I often am not sure what to really report! I drank lots of juice, ate fruit, and felt great. I went on a 3.5-hour hike one day, and to a Body Pump class another day, all on the Modified Juice Feast, and had the energy for it all.

Here are some pics I took from my little cleanse.

Also, as promised, here is a new recipe for you! This one can look a little brown when you first make it because of the purple kale, but I promise you it is yummy!
