5 Wonderful Things That Are Possible With Healing Food Addiction
You can become a totally “normal”, non-compulsive person when it comes to food! Full healing is possible.
Here are five of the things that are indeed possible for you in the future:
1) Not eating compulsively when others bring super tasty or indulgent food into your environment. You don’t worry about what your spouse or kids bring into the house or what food is at your office. You don’t go overboard no matter what’s there. And it’s EASY not to!
2) You forget that you even have foods that previously were impossible to not eat too much of too quickly. You genuinely forget you have ice cream or chocolate or potato chips.
3) You easily wait until you’re hungry to eat and stop when you’re satisfied but not stuffed.
4) Being able to have some “junk” or “addictive” food without going overboard. Your soul is more powerful than the addictive nature of some foods and drinks. While you may skip or minimize these foods for health reasons, you wouldn’t be worried about having some and it leading to a slippery slope. There would be no “one wrong move” (one wrong bite) mentality.
5) Easily being able to not finish all your food and leave some (or a lot) on your plate. You would no longer feel any pressure to be in the “Clean Plate Club”. Of course I recommend practices that minimize food waste, and recommend saving food for later. But when you heal, you will easily be able to leave food on your plate.
When I share these things (and the points in the part 1 video) people feel it’s a fantasy but not really possible. Let yourself really sit with the idea that these things ARE possible, and they’re possible for YOU!
These are the kinds of things that are possible for you if you focus on root cause, emotional healing — even if you feel you’re the biggest binge eater ever, you’re not too far gone. These things can begin to happen gradually, and eventually be your reality all of the time.
