Welcome to my blog

Desert Holidays & Dance
A FANTASTIC FRIDAY to YOU, my fieldly friends 😉
I hope everyone’s holiday season is going great! It’s odd being in the desert for Christmas. Up until the past two Christmases, I’d always lived in places that were snowy and very Christmas-y. I remember as a child marveling at people who lived in the desert and didn’t get to experience white Christmases.. ‘That’s not even CHRISTMAS!! They’re missing out on LIFE!” And here I am… nonetheless, though, I am humming carols, however out of place it is to do so..

Flags of the World Peace Prayer
World peace prayer with the flags and energies of 191 countries on Thanksgiving!
This was the first time that this world peace flag ceremony was done in a labyrinth. It took place on a brisk Thanksgiving Day walking the labyrinth at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center, Patagonia Mountains, Arizona.

Tree of Life Wedding & Journaling
I’m excited to be featured on this week’s ‘My Way‘ at www.WeLikeItRaw.com! If you haven’t checked it out, CHECK IT OWWWT!
It was enjoyable to journal that way, and I’ve had such a good response to my recording of my daily activities and eating, that I’ve decided to do it in that same detail one day per week.

Coldplay LIVE and Thanksgiving 2008
I hope you all had a GLORIOUS Thanksgiving! I sure did! I was, however, a bit sleepy due to the night’s previous engagement of the COLDPLAY concert in Phoenix!!!
About that. AWESOME. Honestly, it was the best show I’ve ever seen. Not to mention it was the last show of their US tour, so you know they’re tired by now, but still – SO GOOD. I have always loved Coldplay, but now I love them even more. There was SO much passion and life in their performance – the crowd was really captivated and energized. Additionally, Chris Martins’ voice is just as good live, which always impresses me. Ahhh so good. If you like them even moderately, SEE THEM LIVE in this lifetime 🙂

Halloween Bash Pics Part 1
Greetings Friends,
Below are pictures from the ‘Halloween Bash’ that my dear friend Koali and I hosted. Enjoy!

Pie Contest Party – Part 1
Last night us Tree People all participated in an EPIC partaaaaaay!
The theme was a RAW PIE CONTEST! All in all we had about 11 beautiful pies – everything from Chocolate Strawberry, to Mint Green Tea Ice Cream, to Macadamia Grape, to Durian, to Pumpkin , and everything in between. It was a yummy fun night, and it ended with dancing, a bonfire and drumming, and poi spinning! Enjoy pictures below!!

The Thinnest Veil
This is my 222nd post… which fits in nicely with the significant increase lately of seeing repeating numbers in my life. I have a friend, who, unfortunately for her, is always around when I seem to see them, and must endure my frequent yelps of excitement. She always asks, “Why do you do that? What do repeating numbers even mean?”.. honestly, I don’t know. But it still excites me.

Alive with Gabriel – Shortened
This morning was this month’s ‘Alive with Gabriel’ teleseminar. Unfortunately (fortunately, rather, as I try my hand at positive conscious languaging), I am still experiencing detox which started at the end of Spirit Dance. I was only present for the first 30 minutes or so, then had to leave due to the onslaught of phlegm torpedos (Sorry, I’m strangely more graphic in my descriptions of things since the Dance, an outcome I did not anticipate).

Spirit Dance Recap
Hi all,
I must say I return to writing this blog with a new perspective indeed. It’s sort of strange, trying to bring an experience like the One World Spirit Dance and put into writing, but I will do 🙂
For a quick rundown of what we actually did for Spirit Dance:

Tree of Life Elixir Party August 2008
Ohhh yeah. Last night ’twas another epic parTAY. The theme was “Elixirs.” We were also saying goodbye to one of our fantastic TOL chefs, who is now moving on. The hosts set up their main room like a bar, serving all sorts of smoothies, kombucha tea blends, herbal teas, and other fruit and chocolate drinks. Later, out came prickly pear juice, prickly pear ice cream and chocolate ice cream. To top it all off was a festive row of 12 different homemade saurkrauts.
