60 Day Juice Feast – Day 27

Wow, now that I look at these pictures side by side, I guess I do look quite a bit different. I didn’t really notice as dramatic of a change, considering I see myself day to day. But here we go, Day 1 and Day 27 after 4 weeks on juice!! You can click on the pictures and they’ll come up a little bigger. My hair looks a little wonky in both pics, haha… time for a cut, methinks.

Today’s Feast, in order of consumption:

18 oz. water w/ 1/2 TBS MSM
12 oz. coconut water
32 oz. green juice w/ lemon, cayenne and turmeric
16 oz. green juice w/ lemon, cayenne and turmeric
2.5 TBS bee pollen
16 oz. orange juice w/ 1/4 TBS Nature’s First Food and 1 TBS hemp oil

18 oz. green juice w/ lemon, cayenne and turmeric

32 oz. cilantro/grape/apple/celery juice w/ 1/4 TBS chlorella and 1/4 TBS MSM

Ahh CILANTRO! As I said yesterday, cilantro and parlsey are my favorite EVER! I’d love to grow them, seeing as I feel like I could eat a pound or two of them ever day.. Does anyone know if it’s easy to grow cilantro or parsley?

Today I wore one of my rings and it kept slipping off my finger. Seems that my fingers are getting thinner as well.

Ah man, this morning I was really feeling the effects of sleep deprivation. I couldn’t concentrate at all, I was irritable, and my head hurt. I notice a huge difference the next morning – it can truly be amazing how vibrant vs. worn out I look based on what time I go to bed, despite doing something as amazing as this juice feast! My body is just less and less forgiving of imbalanced sleep patterns as the feast goes on. I can’t sustain it like I used to be able to – my body is just so magnetized to circadian rhythms now. I’ve been going to bed between 11:30 and midnight and getting up at 7am. Although this is ok in regards to the total hours of sleep, my body has always preferred early-to-bed-early-to-rise. It’s amazing how off I feel just by going to bed a few hours later. I’ve decided to definitely change this part of my lifestyle – to be in bed BY 10:00 as much as possible. I’ve been reading about sleep today, and it definitely validates my intuition on the importance of it… And with that, a good night and sleep to you!!!
