How Can I Expect to Physically Feel on a Juice Feast?

How can I expect to physically feel on a Juice Feast?

There are many factors which will affect how you feel on a juice cleanse, and not everyone's experience is the same. Here are some main factors which will determine how you feel:

-Did you engage in a pre-cleanse transition before you started, where you wean off of foods and drinks which are likely to cause withdrawal symptoms? While this is not required, doing so greatly helps you to feel great sooner on your Juice Feast.

-Are you doing water-based colon cleansing in the form of professional colonics or at-home enemas on your cleanse, starting from day 1 (assuming you're medically safe to do these)? Water-based colon cleansing greatly reduces detox symptoms.

-Are you doing the cleanse correctly? A Juice Feast entails 4+ quarts/liters of juice per day wherein 70-100% of that juice should be low-glycemic, vegetable ingredients.

If you do all of the above, the most common experience is to have some minor detox symptoms in the first 1-3 days, which may include energy dips, a bit of brain fog or a mild headache. Most people can still work as usual because these symptoms are mild. If you're still concerned, you might consider having Day 1 be a day off from work where you can rest.

However, some people who do all of the above steps, feel awesome right from day 1! Not everyone has detox symptoms.

Generally, if you continue to do the Juice Feast correctly, you just feel better and better the longer you go! After the first couple days, most people report feeling the following:

-They have as much energy or even more energy on the Juice Feast than they do normally

-They sleep better and wake up feeling more refreshed

-Aches and pains in the body reduce

-Their skin and digestion improves

-They have surges of creative and organizational energy. Many clients will suddenly feel like cleaning their closet or organizing their hard drive. Productivity often increases.

However, if you go cold turkey off caffeine and sugar, jump right into a juice cleanse, don't drink enough juice or not enough veggie juice, and don't do water-based colon cleansing, you will probably feel terrible. I don't recommend it!
